§ 01
The typical Windsor kitchen we see
Production kitchens in Water Valley, RainDance, Highland Meadows, and the newer communities east of I-25 were built quickly and priced tightly. The bones are usually good: open floor plans, decent ceiling heights, gas service. The finishes are where the shortcuts show: particleboard boxes, entry-level stone, under-sized islands, and storage that ends at the upper cabinets.
That makes most Windsor kitchens a strong candidate for a full remodel without moving exterior walls. Enlarging the island, converting a corner pantry into a walk-in or butler's pantry, running cabinetry to the ceiling, and upgrading lighting and ventilation change the room more than any single finish.

Cabinetry built in our shop
Cabinetry is the biggest line in most kitchen budgets. Because ours is designed and built in-house, we control box construction, door style, finish, and the details that matter in daily use: drawer stacks instead of base doors, pull-out pantry systems, appliance garages, and panel-ready appliance fronts.
It also controls the schedule. We order and build cabinetry during design and permitting, not after demolition, so the kitchen isn't sitting gutted while you wait on a supplier.

Permits in Windsor
The Town of Windsor requires a building permit for work that adds or removes walls or moves or installs plumbing or electrical (Town of Windsor). Most real kitchen remodels hit at least one of those. New plans are reviewed under the 2024 International Codes as of January 1, 2026 (Town of Windsor).
We prepare the drawings, manage the submittal through the Town's online portal, and schedule inspections. Interior kitchen work generally doesn't need HOA architectural review, but anything that changes the exterior, such as a new window, vent, or door, often does in Windsor's master-planned communities.
